Your source, inspected

Code points, UTF-16 units and UTF-8 bytes count different things. A displayed symbol can contain several code points.

How to interpret the results

Positions start at 1; UTF-16 offsets start at 0. The inventory shows the first 1,000 code points; counts cover the full source. Common names are supplied for selected controls, not every Unicode character. Classification follows your browser's Unicode support.

Joiners, direction controls, combining marks and variation selectors can be meaningful. This is an inspection tool, not a security verdict. Nothing is removed automatically. NFC/NFD preserve canonical equivalence; NFKC/NFKD also fold compatibility distinctions.

Copy and TXT export use the selected preview. Incomplete surrogate characters can be inspected, but export is blocked to avoid silent UTF-8 replacement. No drafts are saved here.
